By accessing or using TrakPitch at trakpitch.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. TrakPitch is operated by Sora Music Group ("we", "us", "our").
TrakPitch is a music curation service that connects music artists ("Artists") with playlist curators, blog editors, YouTube channels, and other independent music promoters ("Promoters", referred to as "tastemakers" elsewhere on the Platform). Artists submit tracks free of charge and receive a written review from a Promoter. If a Promoter accepts a track and chooses to promote it, and the Artist elects to proceed, the Artist pays a single flat fee for that promotion. We facilitate the transaction, handle payment processing through our third-party payment provider, and manage payouts to Promoters. TrakPitch does not sell placements and does not direct which tracks a Promoter features.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use TrakPitch. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You must create an account to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
Artists represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any music submitted to the Platform. You must not upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights. Submitting a track for promotion does not transfer any ownership rights to TrakPitch or any Promoter. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
Promoters agree to give honest, good-faith consideration to every submission they receive and to provide written feedback whether they accept the track or pass on it. Reviewing is unpaid: Promoters are not compensated for reviews, and Artists are never charged for them. Whether to promote a track is entirely the Promoter's decision, based on the music. Where a Promoter accepts a track and the Artist proceeds with the promotion fee, the Promoter must deliver the promotion within 7 calendar days of that payment. If it is not delivered within that window, the Artist may claim a full refund of the fee as described in our Refund Policy.
Submitting a track and receiving a review are free. The only charge on the Platform is a single flat promotion fee, and it applies only once a Promoter has accepted a track and the Artist has elected to proceed. The fee is the same for every Promoter—Promoters do not set their own prices—and the current amount is shown before you confirm. Nothing is charged if a Promoter passes on your track, and nothing is charged upfront. All prices are listed in USD. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. TrakPitch retains a platform margin on each transaction—this is how we operate and sustain the service. The remainder is paid out to the Promoter upon successful delivery and verification. Payouts are processed after delivery is confirmed and any applicable review period has passed.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: reviews are free, so there is nothing to refund for them. Where a promotion fee has been paid and the promotion is not delivered within 7 days of that payment, the Artist is entitled to a full refund of the fee, processed back through our payment provider to the original payment method. A promotion that has been delivered is not refundable on the basis of the results it produced.
The following activities are strictly prohibited on TrakPitch:
TrakPitch and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sora Music Group and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Artists retain all rights to their music. Promoters retain all rights to their playlists, blogs, and editorial content. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display your content as necessary to operate the service.
TrakPitch does not guarantee any specific results from promotions. We do not guarantee increases in streams, followers, downloads, playlist placements, or any other metric. Submitting a track does not entitle you to be promoted: Promoters feature only what they genuinely rate, entirely at their own discretion, and a Promoter passing on your track is a normal outcome that costs you nothing. Where a fee is paid, it pays for the promotion work the Promoter carries out—never for a placement, an audience, or a result.
TrakPitch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
TrakPitch reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in prohibited conduct, or otherwise harms the Platform or its users. We may take action at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, any pending payouts will be processed according to our standard schedule, and any paid promotion that has not been delivered will be refunded to the Artist.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of TrakPitch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to international digital services. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules. Each party bears its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
